Energize NY Finance is an innovative product to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades in commercial properties in participating municipalities. Energize NY Finance energy efficiency projects achieve an immediate positive cash flow. We can work with you and your service provider to help you achieve this goal. We can finance 100% of the project cost, so you can make capital improvements without any capital expense. Financing is based on the property’s potential to save energy and carry the tax charge, not on the property owner’s credit, so you can save your capital expenditure budgets for other projects.

Your first step is to fill out a Pre-Application online by clicking on the button below. Once we have pre-qualified the building for financing, it’s time to get started with an energy study of the building. NYSERDA can help you find list of contractors who can guide you, plus who can help you calculate your best options for incorporating Energize NY financing.
